Fun Dives offer certified divers the opportunity to explore the wonders of the underwater world.
Unlike dive training courses, Fun Dives focus on exploring and discovering the region’s exceptional dive sites.
Course
1. Pre-dive briefing
Before each Fun Dive, divers take part in a comprehensive briefing given by our divemasters or qualified instructors. This briefing includes information on the dive site, current conditions, safety procedures and points of interest to be observed.
2. Guided exploration at sea
Divers are accompanied by our experienced dive guides who know the dive sites of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida inside out. They’ll lead you through breathtaking underwater landscapes and help you spot the fascinating marine life to be found there.
3. Return and debriefing
After each dive, divers have the opportunity to share their experiences and ask questions at a friendly debriefing. This allows everyone to relive the highlights of the dive and exchange views with other divers on their discoveries and observations. You’ll also fill in your logbooks with your guide on your return to the dive center.
Excursions
We currently have two boats departing around Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida every morning. Departure is between 8 and 10 a.m. depending on the tides, which change rapidly, so we have to make sure we have enough water to leave and return.
One of our boats is equipped with two 150HP engines, making it not very noisy but safer if the sea is rough.
We offer 4 excursions:
1. To the south, we set off for 2 dives at Manta Point and Crystal Bay (conditions permitting), lasting 5 hours.
2. To the north, we depart for 2 or 3 dives (the sites being closer together) at Mangrove, Toyapakeh, SD Point, Pura Ped, Sental, Pura Mas, Buyuk (depending on conditions) lasting 4 hours (5.5 to 6 hours for 3 dives).
3. To the north-east, we make 2 dives to Karang Sari and Sampalan, lasting 5 hours.
4. To the southeast, we make 2 dives to Malibu and Batu Abah, lasting 5.5 hours. Only for experienced divers (minimum 30 dives and a minimum of 6 divers for this trip).
We allow an hour’s surface interval between each dive. At the end of both dives, a meal will be served on board.
We also offer (conditions permitting, minimum 2 divers):
- a dive between 5:30 and 6 a.m. at the emblematic Blue Corner site (conditions permitting, with a minimum of 2 divers).
- a night dive – departure at 5.30pm.
Informations
We advise you to bring cash to Lembongan, as there are only 4 cash dispensers on the island, which are sometimes capricious. You can pay in EUR at a rate of XE.com +3%, or by credit card at a surcharge of 3%.
If you are an active dive professional (DM, Instructor, CMAS, PADI, SSI with active status), we offer a 10% discount. If you have all your own equipment, we offer a 5% discount (cumulative with the 10%).
Our equipment is new as it was purchased in September 2017 and is from Aqualung. We use 5 mm long wetsuits, neoprene botillons and adjustable fins for maximum comfort.
We organize groups of 4 people per guide, according to level and experience, so that you can make the most of your experience.
All our staff speak French and English, so you’ll always be able to find an English or French-speaking referent if you need one!
For accommodation we recommend our partner Puri Nusa, Wayhu Homestay 1, Nyoman Guesthouse and Shipwreck Inn, which are close to our center and offer different price ranges. You can book via Booking or Agoda.
We can help you arrange a transfer between Sanur and Nusa Lembongan, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.
We offer the possibility of diving with 15 L tanks for an extra IDR 50,000 per tank (subject to availability) and Nitrox tanks for the same price.
Dive sites
There are over twenty dive sites around Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida to suit all levels, with a wide variety of flora and fauna.
Manta Point is reputed to be the ideal place to observe manta rays all year round, depending on conditions.
Other sites such as Mangrove, Toya Pakeh, SD, Sental and Crystal Bay also offer exceptional marine life.
Crystal Cave, Cenningan Wall, Malibu and Blue Corner are all accessible to seasoned divers with numerous Fun Dives under their belts. Come and dive with us!

The Blue Corner early morning dive is priced at IDR 645,000.
The night dive is priced at IDR 750,000 (including dive light).
A supplement of only IDR 200,000 is required for Manta Point and the East, and IDR 300,000 for the Southeast and Padang Bay, to cover the cost of petrol. These are more remote sites that can take up to 1 hour to reach.
The price includes diving equipment, water, tea, coffee, cookies and a meal on the boat.
