ADVANCED OPEN WATER

The Advanced Open Water level is an advanced diving program designed for certified divers who wish to improve their skills and broaden their underwater horizons through specialties. Offered by French Kiss Divers in Nusa Lembongan, this level offers an exciting experience for adventure-seeking divers.

1. Planning and registration

You can register for Advanced Open Water at French Kiss Divers online or by visiting our dive center in Nusa Lembongan. Our experienced team will guide you every step of the way and help you choose the diving specialties that best suit your interests.

In Nusa Lembongan, we recommend the following 5 dives:

1) Deep
You will then be certified to dive to 40 meters.

2) Perfect buoyancy
You’ll learn additional techniques for perfect underwater positioning, control of ascent and descent speeds, advanced palm techniques, breathing and control of energy expenditure underwater.

3) Nitrox
You’ll learn to dive with Nitrox cylinders, a gas mixture containing a higher proportion of oxygen than the air we normally breathe. Nitrox enables divers to stay underwater longer, while minimizing the risk of decompression sickness.

4) Drift
You’ll learn how to manage a dive with currents, tides and waves.

5) 3 ecology specialties are offered as alternatives:

• Turtles eco
• Mantas eco
• Marine life

2. Theoretical training

Before diving, you’ll undergo theoretical training to familiarize you with advanced diving techniques and the knowledge specific to each chosen specialty. You’ll also learn the necessary safety procedures.

3. Specialty dives

You’ll make five open water dives to 40 meters, each focusing on a different specialty. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the most incredible dive sites in Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida, south of Bali.

4. Specialty certification and Advanced Open Water recognition

At the end of the program, you’ll receive your specialty certifications from French Kiss Divers. As soon as you have logged your 24th dive on the MySSI application, you will automatically receive your Advanced Open Water certification. This recognizes your advanced diving skills and opens the door to exciting new diving opportunities.

Price : 8 000 000 IDR ~ 512 $

A small supplement of IDR 200,000 will cover fuel costs if you choose to go to Manta Point.

Continue your training with the Diver Stress & Rescue course to become an even more confident and competent diver.
