It’s maybe one of the most asked questions, and not always the easiest to answer. As every country in south-east asia, the weather is mostly fine in Bali and Nusa Lembongan, and there is a bit more rain between November and February, as it is the rainy season in this area.
Even so it is a little bit more wet between November and February, it is usually many showers, and the rest of the day can be fine, it is not as bad as some other country like Thailand, when rain can fall for days during the wet season. Also at the time of the year it tends to be less crowdy, with cheapest accommodation options and still great diving conditions, with a water a bit warmer than the rest of the year.
So the best time to come and visit, if you like sunny and hot days, would be during the summer, but as it is the school summer holidays in Europe, and also one of the favorite time for Australians to come and visit Bali and Lembongan, it is usually the most busy time of the year, and you have to book quite in front to make sure you can find the accommodation you like, and stay in your budget, even so Lembongan a wide variety of options for every budget.
If you dream is to see the Mola Mola, then you’ll have to come and pay a visit between July and October, when you’ll have the biggest chance to meet one of these beautiful and charming creature.
